Affiliate Marketing and Pay Per Click

Do you want to make more money? Do you want to turn that computer you spent so much
money on into a cash cow? Well it is possible. It won’t happen overnight but with time and hard
work you’ll soon be working from home if you choose. Do you currently have a website? Do you wonder why it isn’t making you any money? You keep posting great content, wonderful writing samples and articles but still your balance is zero. Well perhaps you need to expand your horizons. By signing up for pay per click affiliate sites you can soon see cash going into your account simply by maintaining your site.

One of the most popular Pay per click programs is Google AdSense. Google AdSense will take
care of the advertising for you. When you sign up, your site will have new advertisements and
banner places in the open spaces. If anyone visits your site and clicks on one of the ads, you
get a referral payment. Again, Google takes care of the ad placement allowing you to
concentrate on increasing the traffic to your site.  Joining a scheme such as Google AdSense is a good idea. They will help to promote your site and advise you on how to increase your traffic.

If you have been maintaining your website for a while, you probably know that one of the best
ways to attract traffic is through the use of keywords. The right keywords will have them
flocking to your site. The wrong words will have them running in droves. Sites such as Google
AdSense can help with this as well. They operate Google ad words. This will help maximize the
key word usage and help get the correct one for the most traffic. Google does charge for this
service so you need to be sure it is worth it before you buy. You don’t want all of your profits
ate up by the ad words scheme.

When you sign up for Google AdSense, you can be assured that page appropriate ads will be
places on your webpage. If you have a pet care site then things related to that topic will be
placed. Obscure and ads that have nothing to do with your page are not likely to impress your
reader or increase your earnings. Google AdSense is only one example of search engines that offer a pay per click money making service. There are hundreds of others. One of the most notable is Yahoo publisher. It
functions in much the same way as Google AdSense and offers a similar style of service.
Which one you choose will largely depend on you. If you have several sites, you could try both
schemes. See which one is better and go with that one.

If you have a or several web pages that just seem to be doing nothing, then look into a pay per
click program. Sites such as Google AdSense and yahoo publisher will do most of the hard
work for you. They will place the ads and decide which ads will be best for your site. This will
leave you time to do the most important thing; increase your site traffic and eventually your ad
revenue. If you have websites, look into pay per click. The service is free so you have nothing.

  1. Google Adsense is a good way for bloggers to make money online. I use Adsense in my blog.

You can also use Adwords to generate sales from Affiliate products.

Good to see your post Gary 🙂

  2. Great article Gary! Adsense is really the best way to start out, and even for a veteran like myself i feel Adsense still probably is the best way if your a content producer and not a salesperson.

I believe a lot of people just look at affiliate commissions and believe that will make them more money because their is a much higher payout. Thing is they wont get payed nearly as often as with Adsense. I’m truly happy to see someone actually promoting Adsense instead of a shady affiliate network. Keep it up!

  3. Yup, it’s all about the traffic! You’ve got a website with traffic, you’ve got dozens of ways to monetize it. Get creative, not need to stick with Adsense only! Although it is probably the simplest way to get started, true.

    1. Agree with you Pedro, these days this is the best way to earn money and people should use different affiliate sites which provides best offer as comparison to Adsense.

  4. Google adsense is great for earning money, but I think adsense alone won’t give much profit as you expected. For me, it’s a very slow process..

  5. Hi, I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say GREAT blog!…..I”ll be checking in on a regularly now….Keep up the good work!

  6. I love Adsense, I’m never going to be a millionaire from it, but it helps fund my domain names and hosting so I’m happy 🙂

  7. Great content! This is the first blog I ever remember anyone speaking of any other pay per click other than adwords. I like Facebooks pay per click advertising as another avenue for advertising. The granular target marketing you can do there is really great.

  8. I haven’t tried these Google Adsense thing. But if what you say is true. I better not miss it got to try my Internet Marketing Blog to generate income for me. By using Google Adsense

  9. Google adsense is great source for earn money but now a day it is not eady to get google adsense account, infact after create account it is very slow process you will not get enough profit from it.

  10. Google Adsense is provide way to blogger for earn money but it will not give you much profit, you need to choose good topic of your blog and first try to make your blog poupular for some times then after apply for the adsense account

  11. I accept as factual many of persons just gaze at affiliate charges and accept as factual that will make them more cash because their is a much higher payout. Thing is they wont get payed almost as often as with Ad sense. I’m really joyous to glimpse somebody really encouraging Ad sense rather than of a shady affiliate network.

  12. I think people don’t even notice ads anymore in the same way we mute the commercials when watching TV. Unless you have a really targeting product, it is hard to make money with AdSense. Focused advertising can be a better alternative if you have the right niche and plenty of traffic.

  13. Thanks for sharing this valuable piece of information about Adsense. I haven’t tried it.
I will consider all the tips here.

  14. I have been using pay per click programs like Google Adsense from last 4 years but I am still to make any income from the same. At the same time, it is amazing to see making 100s and 1000s of dollars from the same. Anyways, it all comes to the traffic thing. If you have everything on your site except the much needed traffic, then no one can help. All your affiliate marketing and the related pay per click programs are likely to go waste if you fail to target your niche and if you have fall short of the expected traffic.

So, here is what one needs to do –

    – Research on our niche (keyword research)
    – Create a site
    – Write only about your niche
    – Do onpage SEO
    – Sign up for programs like Google Adsense
    – Put ad codes properly, better ad placement
    – Monitor traffic and related details
    – Check your conversions

    1. I’ve seen reports of people making $100-$500 a day.

But yeah, it does come down to traffic but it’s still crazy how well some of these websites do with Adsense.

  15. I also make use of Google Adsense to make money, also it is important to choose the niche for which you are making a blog. PPC campaign is also very important and you need to plan the keywords and the where you are targetting the audiences. Nice post.

  17. I love Google Adsense and its challenges to get people to click. I have worked many hours sometimes just for penny clicks. As I work harder the more revenue starts coming in. It does work, but it takes a lot of time and effort.

  18. I used Google adsence and PPC campaign, now yet my monthly income 500 to 1000 dollar per month but Google adsence take more time and effort, we used to PPC campaign for popular keyword which that generate good traffic and increase own business. looking forward to find our more. thanks for sharing nice info.

  19. I just started using adsense this year. It appears to be a promising adventure. I definitely do not have the traffic. The more articles I write I have noticed an increase in traffic. Good read. I also enjoyed reading everyones comments. Thanks for helping out a new blogger.

It will facilitate to encourage your site and give an opinion to you enlarge your traffic. It is awesome belief to boost your site. It is magnificent idea.

  21. Affiliate marketing is a great but a risky means of making money online. I like the Google Adsense though it brings less profit but there is no risk involve especially if you are writing or blogging for fun.

  22. @Shabnam, I don’t think Adsense is that sustainable. It’s a passive revenue stream and it’s subject to great fluctations.

With Affiliate products you can build a very sustained income with larger returns.

  23. I agree with the Garage.

Also, I see that many people say that the process with Google Adsense is a slow one, but I don’t mind that. I think that it’s great for those who don’t have blogging as they only income and who are doing it for fun. In time, it can turn out to be a much more important income for you if you are patient enough.

  24. I rather preferred PPC than Adsense. I myself wants too to run a Adsense to my website but my personal gmail cannot register that’s why I choose PPC. It helps me a lot .. More money$$.
